Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey marry: See her dress

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey have officially tied the knot.
The model and the San Francisco 49ers running back married on Saturday at a chapel in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. Vogue published exclusive photos of the bride in her gown.
Culpo, 32, told the magazine she designed her dress with Dolce & Gabbana with the goal of creating something "that felt as serious" as her commitment to McCaffrey, 28. The covered-up ballgown featured a crew neck, long sleeves and a buttoned back, and she wore a 16-foot lace veil, Vogue reported.
"I didn't want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form," Culpo told Vogue. "I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it's complimenting me, not overpowering me. There's so much beauty and simplicity."
She added, "This is the first, last, and only wedding dress I tried on." The former Miss Rhode Island USA and Miss Universe also said that she and McCaffrey's "number one priority" was to get married in a church.

After the church ceremony at Watch Hill Chapel, where workers armed with blue umbrellas hid the bride from view, the reception was held at the Ocean House hotel, which shut down to the public for the event. A tent shielded with drapery was set up on the lawn for guests.
Last week, Culpo shared a series of photos on Instagram showing her and McCaffrey boarding a private plane ahead of their wedding, with flower petals filling the aisle. "Let it begin," she wrote, adding a bride emoji. She also showed a menu printed on a card labeled "Olivia & Christian Wedding Flight."
Earlier in June, Culpo celebrated McCaffrey's birthday on Instagram, writing, "Happy birthday to the best thing that ever happened to me! I can't wait to marry you."

The couple, who have been together since 2019, announced their engagement in April 2023. At the time, Culpo shared a series of black-and-white photos, including one showing McCaffrey down on one knee.
"We tried to keep this quiet for as long as possible, but word travels fast," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "I'm marrying my best friend. I love you so much, fiance."

In a 2022 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Culpo explained why she broke her rule not to date another athlete after prior relationships with Ryan Lochte, Tim Tebow and Danny Amendola.
"He's just the best, I feel like he is really everything that I could ever ask for," she said. "So I never have to worry about anything. I think that was the reason why I didn't want to date an athlete, no offense, because there is a reputation there."
