Megan Thee Vice President?
Megan Thee Stallion is set to join presidential candidate Kamala Harris at an Atlanta campaign rally after the rapper shared a flyer on her Instagram on Monday, featuring a photo of herself and referencing the vice president and the time, 7:30 p.m.
A Harris campaign source confirmed to USA TODAY that Megan will join Harris at the Atlanta event Tuesday night. USA TODAY has reached out to Megan's reps for comment.
The "Hiss" rapper has not been especially active in politics, aside from dubbing former first lady Michelle Obama "Thee First Lady" and urging fans to vote. However, the rapper has been outspoken about Americans needing to protect Black women amid Tory Lanez's trial after he shot the "Savage" artist; Lanez was later convicted.
The rapper is currently on her Hot Girl Summer Tour. The international arena tour, Megan's first time as a headliner, stops in Atlanta on Friday, following her appearance in the nation's capital over the weekend at the Broccoli City Festival. The tour will wrap up in New York City on Sept. 26.
