A Virginia woman was unwinding after a long day at work by playing lottery games on her phone when her life changed forever.
Jenny Gonzales Castillo of Newport News won $1.9 million in the online game Scrooge's progressive jackpot.
"I told my daughter, 'Pinch me! I want to know if I'm dreaming or awake!'" Castillo told lottery officials.
She claimed her prize on Dec. 1 and said she plans to use some of the winnings for her daughter's college education, Virginia Lottery officials said on Thursday.
What is Scrooge's jackpot?
Scrooge is an online game that allows players to bet between $0.10 and $30. The game features a progressive jackpot and can be accessed on the lottery’s website or mobile app.
The current jackpot amount is $486,593 after Castillio won her $1.9 million.

The odds of winning a prize in $crooge are one in 3.86, but the chances of winning depend on the amount of money you bet.
